School Day

School Session times

It is essential that all children arrive at school on time each day. Please find the times of the school day below.

School Gates open at 8.45am daily.  All children should be in school before the gates close at 8.55am.

The Nursery children are educated during a morning session each day:

8.55 am – 11.55am

Reception & Key Stage 1

Registration 8.55 am

Session 1 - 9.00 am – 10.30 am

Break 10.30 am – 10.45 am

Session 2 - 10.45 am – 12.00 pm

Lunch 12.00 pm – 1.15 pm

Session 3 - 1.15 pm – 2.15 pm

Break 2.15 pm – 2.30 pm

Session 4 - 2.30 pm – 3.15 pm

Reception and Key Stage 1 children must be collected from their classroom door by an adult. 

Key Stage 2

Registration 8.55 am

Session 1 - 9.00 am – 10.30 am

Break 10.30 am – 10.45 am

Session 2 - 10.45 am – 12.15 pm

Lunch 12.15 pm – 1.15 pm

Session 3 - 1.15 pm – 3.15 pm

Key Stage 2 children are dismissed from their assigned door and must return immediately to the school if the adult collecting them is not present. 

Total Time in a typical week = 32 hours
