Our first week in Year 2!

We were glad to see all our friends again and we all shared the wonderful things we have been doing over the summer holidays.

Mrs McGowan put us straight to work!

In English we have been learning the story of Little Red Riding Hood. We made up actions and learnt a song. She was very silly because she spoke to the frightening wolf and told him where she was going!

In Maths we have been looking at numbers all the way to 1000. We compared them using the signs < > and =.

We have also started our topic "Island Adventures!" We are looking forward to finding out more about Katie Morag.
