Arts Week at St Paul's

School is buzzing with Arts activities this week, Year 5 have been generating actions to accompany their delightful signing, Y4 have completed intricate digital art work based on "Flight of the Bumblebee" and Reception have made art in the style of Mondrian using their bike wheels to create the famous bold black lines, as well as many other wonderful activities taking place in these and the other year groups. Year 3 walked into Hyde today to capture with sketch and photography the scenes in the modern market compared with Harry Rutherford's painting from 1948. We are so thrilled by the children's imaginative and enthusiastic response to Arts Week so far. Please check back for photographs on the class pages and please ask the children what they have been studying throughout the week, I'm sure they will be full of passion and knowledge for The Arts.
